EarlySEO ("we", "our", "us") is a product by MarkupX Brands. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use EarlySEO and connect third-party services such as Notion and WordPress.com.

2. Information We Collect

a. Account Information

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Workspace identifiers

b. Connected Services (Shopify)

When you connect your Shopify store, we may access:

  • Store domain and shop information
  • Blogs and blog posts
  • Publishing permissions
  • Access tokens (encrypted)

We do not store customer or order data. We comply with Shopify's privacy law compliance requirements including GDPR, CCPA, and CPRA.

c. Connected Services (Notion)

When you connect Notion, we may access:

  • Page titles
  • Page content
  • Database structure
  • Metadata required to publish or update content

We do not access private pages outside granted permissions.

d. Connected Services (WordPress.com)

When you connect your WordPress.com account, we may access:

  • Site metadata (site name, URL)
  • Posts and pages (title, content, status)
  • Categories and tags
  • Author identifiers (non-sensitive)
  • Publishing permissions

We do not access passwords, billing information, or private user data unrelated to publishing.

e. Usage Data

  • Feature usage
  • API requests
  • Error logs (non-content)

3. How We Use Data

We use collected data to:

  • Generate and publish SEO content
  • Sync content with Notion and WordPress.com
  • Optimize existing posts and manage internal linking
  • Improve product performance
  • Provide customer support

We do not sell your data.

4. Shopify Privacy Compliance

EarlySEO complies with Shopify's mandatory privacy law requirements including GDPR, CCPA, and CPRA:

  • Customers/Data Request: When a customer requests their data from a Shopify store, we respond appropriately
  • Customers/Redact: We do not store customer data, so redaction requests are acknowledged
  • Shop/Redact: When a merchant uninstalls the app, all shop data is deleted within 48 hours

5. Data Storage & Security

  • Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure
  • Encryption in transit and at rest
  • Access limited to authorized personnel only

6. Data Sharing

We only share data with:

  • Infrastructure providers (hosting, storage)
  • Analytics tools (aggregated, anonymized)

Never with advertisers or resellers.

7. User Control & Data Deletion

You may:

  • Disconnect Notion or WordPress.com at any time from your dashboard
  • Request full data deletion by emailing us

All associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days of request.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified via email or dashboard notice.
